How to find through the Internet Christian single people in their 30s who have lived for some time in a monastery but returned home, understanding that monastic life was not their vocation. And though now they live in the “world”, their life and worldview are not secular but, in some sense, remain monastic, or, in other words, they are very conservative and old-fashioned Christians. I need to find such friends or soulmates. Please give me advice what I can do to find them.

A: I wasn't aware Yahoo! had more than one dating site. I would think they were separate as I use Personals, but would have no interest in belonging to a xian dating site...Yahoo! can make more money by keeping them separate rather than allowing people who join one, to have access to all (however many there are). That info should be provided when you sign up/join though. If you have access to other services then I would assume they would let you know.

All comments are welcome, whether you are a Christian or not. However, I am especially interested in the views of those who are Christians. Single and married Christians, men and women. When it comes to our faith, what are your views concerning sex and the single Christian? Do you believe that abstinence until marriage is only for the young, or do you believe that fornication is a sin no matter how old a person is? I am not asking this question for myself. I am single, but I believe that sex without marriage is fornication and that fornication is a sin as the Bible says, but I'm curious to find out what you believe. I would like to take a moment and clear up a misconception to those of you who are not Christians. Sometimes Christians are viewed as prudes and people who hate sex and believe that it is something dirty. Nothing could be further from the truth. In the first place, we are all here *because* of sex. We are also sexual beings, and sex is a divine creation (and gift to married people, men and women) from God. I am not forcing my beliefs on you, just stating some things I believe are true.

You know, web sites where single Christian adults can meet and get know each other for possible dating, courtship and eventually maybe marriage. Does anyone know what is the largest (has the most members) one serving the United States? Or, maybe there is a web site that is not the largest, but nevertheless has a large number of members and is very good in the way it functions and tends to have really good people as members. I know about eharmony.com, but I've heard that it is very expensive, and I'm going to see if I can try some less expensive web sites first. A: I met my husband thru eHarmony--I cant remember the cost, but it did not seem any more than some other match sites. Try eHarmony for three months, if you can--they might give you a deal to continue on that site when your time is almost up---that is the only singles site I would recommend. I tried Big Church too and, I too, wasnt pleased with that. Try to be patient, I was almost ready to give up and then----met the man I would be married to. Save your money --dont waste it on some of the smaller single sites. Good luck.

I am a single Christian woman and I have found it nearly impossible to find Christian men with morals who actually study the Bible and are TRULY Christian. Any others have this problem? And I live in the Bible belt! I can't imagine how difficult it is elsewhere!
